Jane Shim

Jane Shim is a Korean textile artist based in London, currently in her second year at Chelsea College of Arts. Her work often features vibrant and diverse colour palettes, inspired by the unique and mesmerizing colours of the skies and natural landscapes she experienced during her childhood in New Zealand. Jane's artistic practice involves techniques such as silk screen printing, fabric dyeing, and heat pressing, through which she creates immersive textile pieces. Her creations aim to evoke a deep connection to nature, inviting viewers to reflect on the beauty and fragility of the natural world.
